Bunny Hop

Well Easter is sneaking up on us, and with a continued need to occupy the girls we made some crafts today. They seemed to enjoy doing it, especially using the stapler (which kind of worries me). But here is a video of the girls doing the Lawson Bunny Hop.

These pictures arent edited, but still cute.

Promised Pictures

Snow Day

Its been a while since I have added anything, mostly because life has been mellow for once. We have chilled around the house and played in the snow (aka me shoveling it) and thats about it. I did take some pictures and some video of the last time we went out.
The first video from my apartment window. I was taking a video to send to Jim so he could see his car in the snow, and just happened to be doing it while the snowbulldozer guy came by.

The second video is me shoveling and the girls playing.

I am still trying to load pictures, edit them and what not, but I will add them as soon as they are ready.

Tuesday Morning Tickles

With nothing planned for the day we spent the morning dancing to Imagination Movers, playing "chase me while I scream running down the hallway", then ended up on my bed for a round of tickles and pictures.
It wasn't momentous, but it was fun, and hopefully worked out some of the cabin fever issues we have been having with the girls lately. It was sunny with melting snow earlier this morning (I got excited) then an hour later I glanced outside and it was snowing again. That will teach me for getting excited.
I did take a video of Rose, she has a spot under her chin that gets her going everytime.
It's a tad shaky, I was trying to take the video, tickle her, and keep her in the shot, so I'm sorry for that.
Below are some pictures I did manage to take with the girls. They are wiggly little things, so none of them are super good, but you get the idea.

Funny Fuzzy Hats vs. Toasty Warm Ears...

Before you knock the hats.. yes I know they are dorky, BUT, they will keep us wimp girls warm this year and for a few years to come. So, we might look weird, and get looks, but then we won't be freezing off any ears anytime soon, so let them look!

And the girls dont even seem to notice, they just love that they can play longer in the snow. And well, they have horses running on them, are fuzzy, and that is all that seems to matter. :0)

A Killer Queen

As anyone who knows me knows, I love Queen, the band. And well, since the girls are with me most of the time they listen to my music alot. Now don't get me wrong, I have a good stash of "kids" music. But a person can take only so much before getting sick from the sweetness. So that brings us back to topic. I listen to Queen often. And the girls have picked up on alot of the lyrics to the songs (hence the reason I dont listen to body language anymore). Carmen has good taste in music and some decent rhythm skills too... as you will see...

Note: Rosemary is sportin a great Jazzersize headband... we are still working on her fashion and music taste. :0)

Christmas from Papa

Due to some scheduling error's Papa's (aka my dad) presents didnt get to us till today. Even so, the girls enjoy them all the same. I took a video of the girls right after they opened their presents.

Its been a few hours since they first opened their gifts and they are still playing with them, so I would say that is a slam dunk!!! Thanks again dad.

Carmen adores the box with a piano attached, I took a video of her playing it... she is just a tad excited about it.

 took a couple pictures too...

Thanks again Papa, they really do like the stuff you sent!

Missing Daddy

The girls are in a continued state of missing Daddy. He works long hours and hasn't had a day off since he left, so unfortunately, that means that Daddy doesnt get alot of time to talk to them. But the other night the timing worked out and they got to chat with him. You can see by their expressions that they were really excited.

Of course it meant a round of, "Why cant daddy come home? When is daddy coming home? Can we go get daddy?" But its worth it to have them see him smile at their antics, and to hear his voice.
